Sad to hear this.  She was in my home room and a sweetie.

I knew Rita since Jr.high and then at TAHS.

She was always laughing and smiling.

Sorry to hear that she is no longer with us.

I was so sorry to hear about Rita Lynn Cohen's passing.  My thoughts are with those who loved and cared about her.  Our class is getting smaller....and it makes me sad that she won't be at our 50th reunion.  Lois Fink

Rita and I were friends throughout h.s. She was one of the sweetest and kindess persons I knew. She married my cousin, who was our same age, and moved to his home in New Philadelphia, OH. They were so happy. We kept in touch, now as cousins. They had two children but soon thereafter Rita died of cancer. Her husband never went on another date after her death because he said he had found the ideal and most perfect partner, that he did not see the reason for looking again. She died way too young.
