I am sad to read that announcement that another classmate has died. Sixty-nine is just too young. Rest in peace, John Zahorchak.

It was so nice to get together with Danny at our 50th reunion. I’ve known Danny since we were in 5th grade together in Greenfield School. It is so sad to hear of his passing.  My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace dear friend.

I am sad hearing about Dan's death. We attended Greenfield school together and I saw him when I was in the Marine Corps reserve. RIP my friend.

Just heard of Dannys passing.    What a shock.    To those of us who knew him we knew him by his nickname of " Zup ".    I am really saddened to hear of his passing.   A great guy.

i am very saddened and shocked  to hear of zup's passing. it was great to see danny after all the years at our 50th...the memory of sitting with him at the table   and the memory of many years at greenfield school and allderdice homeroom will last forever........having a last name beginning with " Z " always placed zup somewhere around my seat ...my sympathies to his  family ...

Glad I had the opportunity to talk to Danny at our 50th. He loved to draw. In fact, when we were in junior high, one of Zup's drawings was shown on WQED. We Greenfied kids were so proud! May Danny rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing.
