Mark and I were close friends when we attended Minadeo and remained good friends until his death. He was more confident than I was and so I piggybacked his behavior as best I could. Mark was very smart and ultimately became a physician. When I was in town visiting from college, I hung out with Mark and Nate Stark who were in the same fraternity at Pitt. Mark and I would go to the oval at Schenley Park after picking up a pound of bing cherrys and pasteries from either Rosenblooms or Silberberg's and talk about countless subjects for hours. We shot pool at the Corner Pocket in h.s. and then at his fraternity house during college years. Mark contracted cancer of his liver. He died way too young. Steve Rosenfield
