I was told by my counselor that my grades were not good enough to get into a regular college and I would never make it into Penn State. What did he know, I received my Masters of Education degree from Penn State in 1992. With that said, I never walked at graduation at Allderdice (because I had to start summer school at college), I never walked at graduation at Ball State (because I was in the Army) and I never walked at graduation from Penn State (because I was too busy working and traveling).

My son and daughter-in-law also graduated from Penn State in 1995.
